Neoliberalism as creative destruction

                   The quote that interest me from Neoliberalism as creative destruction by David Harvey is "The world stumbled toward neoliberalism through a series of gyrations and chaotic motions that eventually converged on the so-called "Washington Consensus" in the 1990s".
                   Harvey is saying that people was against neoliberalism that they took action to stop it. action was taken and it was done away with in the 1990's
                   This means freedom for me I wouldn't want to be in a country where free market capitalism is favored. I left my homeland to come to America for a better life, if America was operating as a capitalist country I will not migrate here to be unhappy.
